With these figures the odds is stacked against Atiku. Look at Lagos and Oyo population, both APC owned. Compare to SE, Atiku's only stronghold.

Who told you APC owns Lagos and Oyo? Do you remember the number of votes polled by Jimi Agbaje of PDP in 2015? 600k+ against APC 800k+.
Lagos is no man's land. They will share the spoils.
As for Oyo, the dynamics is very tricky with Akala gone to UDP, coupled with the level of enlightenment of the electorates there, you never know. I think it's going to be close in those two states.
Atiku should go to work and see how much votes he can still from the North West.

Stop this nonsense man.this kind of ignorance from you antibuharists is why buhari will win.when apc were doing their direct presidential primaries state by state where were you? Did the tell you that all the 14 million voters were to gather in abuja? Didnt you read that what happened in abuja was just an affirmation by 7000 apc national delegates on behalf of all the 14 million delegates? Always dig deeper before rushing to comment.your used to pdp indirect primaries that is anti democratic to the extent that its blinding you from seeing the better direct primary
I don't care about any party in Nigeria bro, even if the next messiah to come will be from an independent entity. That will be the best. Besides the state to state primaries was to elect the flag bearer of the apc governorship aspirant of each state. When they did the one of presidency is best known to u

So why didnt this your computation help Gej in 2015?

The Ibos in Lagos vote their interest, and thats their shops and market. They dont care about voting with SE.
They mess up and feel the wrath from the owners of Lagos. Did you not see how after his coronation different Ibo groups were visiting to pay homage to Aare Ona Kakanfo? You will think Iba Gani Adams was head of Ohanazae. Those Ibos dont want trouble, they value their business. They will vote how MC Oluomo tell them to.

Same applies with Arewa Igbo. They distanced from SE politics.

How many Ibo in Lagos or Kano observed sit at home like you did recently in SE? Those Ibos no longer belong to you....they are political tools in SW and NW to buffer and counter opposition against our interests.

Dont ever include them in your counts for SE again.

It was because the North Central voted Buhari 2015 but now he has already shot himself in the leg in that region

This happened because everyone was buying that idea of change from the APC in 2015 since PDP has ruled for 16yrs. But now, we have seen the change they mean so the people can properly and confidently decide whether they like the change or not. An adage says "if you marry two wives, you go know which one better".

So the change affected ibos too. Tell me something else. No foreigner can determine an election in any region in Nigeria. You vote according to the indigenes dictate or you don't vote at all.

That is what they dont realize.southerners up north wil be forcefully disenfranchized.atiki cant get more than 300k votes in kano, buhari will get over 2million.in the south east in 2015,2.4 million voted gej.expect that number to reduce next year.

Shebi because Atiku is an igbo man and has no support in Kano? You APC supporters joke too much. This is 2019 and 2015.It is North Vs North.Muslim Vs Muslim.Kano votes will not be like that in 2015

Brother don't use 2015 to judge Lagos election next year o. GEJ did much to help him win last time and even Obanikoro and Bode tried for him.
Right now, Obanikoro will never vote or fight for PDP because of his son's candidature and interest in APC.

Agbaje might not even poll up to 600k votes this time.
Mind u, APC Lagos State now have over 1.9m registered members who will come out to vote to protect their interests.

Neutrals cannot influence Lagos election as most of them may not want to vote.

Where are the strong men in Lagos PDP? Don't forget that it is strong men that win election in Nigeria.

I respect sensible, hardworking Igbo's ......But the mumus among them reason like dindinrins....

Let me tell you one thing. Your hues and cries for Atiku will only turn the contest into another Igbo vs Nigeria battle.

Atiku is good and cerebral...Let him sell himself to the people...Stop tying him to your apron strings and de-marketing the man with your stupid ethnic permutations. That's what you people did to candidate Jonathan..Instead of flying under a pan-Nigerian banner , he was seen more as an Igbo candidate than a gentleman from the South South. You have started again!!!

Buhari has always scored beyond what Atiku has ever scored in his outing in 2007.

In 2007, PMB got 6,605,299 votes to Atiku's 2,637,848 votes.

In 2011, PMB got 12,214,853 votes.

In 2015, PMB defeated Atiku, Kwankwaso and others in the primaries despite their dollars. He later went on to win with over 15 million votes and that figure is sure to climb in 2019.

The most Atiku will get in 2019 will be 8 million votes and he will be permanently retired from politics.

Mark this post, the North will use the opportunity to tell Atiku that he's not liked and not wanted.
Allow them to be shouting Atiku is also a Muslim and northerner blabla.

The same way the NE and MB combine vote is 17M plus.. Then add SE and SS 15M plus. Then add a divided SW of just 40% which is around 6M

17 + 15 + 6 = 38M roughly

Buharis only base is NW 18M and 40% SW

18 + 6 = 24M roughly

The SE and SS for atiku is nothing less than 90% if PDP takes SE for VP and also are able to convince and mobilize them to Vote.

MB and NE will stand for PDP 70 - 80% because of Fulani herdsmen and bokoharam. And again atiku is from the NE

So tell me,what are buharis's chances?
I see the repetition of this line throughout this thread..."if he picks a SEner as V.P, what if he doesn't?

I Will take you serious only when you have ever visited NE and NW to have known the kind of political control PMB commands over there.
Adamawa and Taraba are just the 2 states in the NE Atiku could be bold enough to win. Gombe, Bauchi, Yobe, and Borno are not ready to give Atiku 1% of their votes. Come to NW, Jigawa, Kano, Kaduna, Zamfara, Katsina, Sokoto,Zamfara and Kebbi. it will take a special grace of God for Atiku to get 10% votes in all those states. My write ups ain't about sentiment, but basically of what I have seen while I stayed in the North for close to 10yrs.
In your mind, you are the only one who stays in the north, lol... Buhari is popular in the north but with his abysmal leadership in the last 3 year, the guy has lost lots of his loyalists... So, your permutations are flawed and it wouldn't work.

The only thing that will make Igbo's to vote in the forthcoming election is if PDP picks Peter Obi as his vice. Like Ekweremmadu is a bad choice for V.P now. Peter Obi has stronghold in the S.E more than Ekweremmadu. What you all cease to understand is tha t Igbo's are tired of this country called Nigeria and many of them will not vote next year just like in 2015. An average Igbo man hates APC and will never vite for buhari and also hates fulaniband will never vote for atiku. 2019 election day will be another ofe nsala day in the southeast if care is not taken. For now 60% ofbigbos will not vote next year unless a V.P is taken from their region. Nigeria has never benefited the Igbo's and they will never lose another life because of Nigeria politics. Those saying that Rochas will deliver IMO for APC should remember that IMO is 80% Catholic and Rocha's is not in good terms with IMO catholics. Anambra will always listing to their umunna meeting and their bishops the same with Enugu and Abia. Ebonyi is the only State that may vote for APC. The only problem PDP will have is to get Igbo's to come out and vote.
