LAGOS—A Federal High Court in Lagos has restrained Lagos Polo Club from expelling one of its members, Abe Ibraheem because he sued the club. Justice Okon Abang, in his ruling on an ex-parte application by counsel to the applicant, ordered parties in the suit to maintain status quo ante bellum on all the issues arising from the dispute, pending the hearing and determination of the suit. The court also ordered the applicant to serve the motion on notice dated July 5, 2010 on the defendants, while further hearing was adjourned to July 19. |
