2010 FIFA World Cup Awards 2010 Winners Golden Ball – Diego Forlan of Uruguay Silver Ball – Wesley Sneijder of Netherlands Bronze Ball – David Villa of Spain Golden Boot – Thomes Muller of Germany Silver Boot – David Villa of Spain Bronze Boot – Wesley Sneijder 0f Netherlands Golden Glove – Iker Casillas of Spain Best Young Player – Thomas Muller of Germany (age:20) Andres Iniesta scored four minutes into overtime to give Spain its first World Cup with a 1-0 win against Holland. They now have the eighth nation to take a FIFA World Cup. But apart from that they have won two of the special rates that apply to each stage of the competition. The Spanish team also won the FIFA Fair Play Trophy, awarded to the team with the best record of fair play throughout the tournament

I'm impressed wif both Diego Forlan & [b]Thomas Muller [/b]for their outstanding performances. Particularly wif Forlan as he has been so consistent over the years - watched him 8yrs ago at Japan/South Korea. What a great sportsman he's been. Others are Wesley Sneijder - the free-kick specialist & master passer; Iker Casillas (outstanding keeper); David Villa; & Arjen Robben (live-wire) |

FORLAN TOO ME IS THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD PERIOD. BECAUSE HE DOESN'T PLAY FOR A "BIG" CLUB, HE DOESN'T GET THE RECOGNITION AND RESPECT THAT HE DESERVES. |
