DOWN SYNDROME FOUNDATION NIGERIA is a non-governmental, not for profit organization catering for the unique needs of people with Down syndrome in Nigeria.

In consonance with our underlying principle philosophy of encouraging the integration of people with DS, and other learning disabilities to fulfill their full potentials, we are committed to giving them equitable opportunities to receive effective early,educational and social/rehabilitative intervention so as to prepare them for productive lives as full members of the society.

In view of the aforementioned, our foundation has designed and come up with a programme tagged "Job Experience programme" JEP- This programme is designed for our young adults with Down syndrome with a view to achieve the following objectives:

To contribute their own quota to the economic development of our society.
To equip our young adults with productive skills
Enhance their Social mintegration
Acquisition of valuable skills and job experience
campaign and advocacy for people with disabilities, particularly Down syndrome among others.

To this end we are soliciting for the supports of private organizations such as Supermarkets and departmental stores, Filling stations, Eateries etc who would be willing to engage our young adults in this programme, we shall be very glad to hear from you.
