Atiku Media Organization Attack Buhari On Proposed $2.8billion Dollars Eurobond, by Guiderlaurel: 1:16pm On Oct 11, 2018 |
The Atiku Media Organization (AMO) has queried the plan of the Federal Government to raise another $2.8 billion dollars Eurobond, the fifth series in less than 2 years. Coordinator of the Atiku Media Organization, Laurel Chinedu who made the view of the Organization known accused the APC led government of continuously plunging the nation into series of debt. “I’m amazed that President Muhammadu Buhari is weighing into the option of seeking another Eurobond valued at $2.8 billion dollars. Let me make this known to the general public that if this is approved, it will be the fifth time in two years. Laurel Chinedu said”. This has caused Nigeria external debt to rise massively in the last three years of the APC administration. “After the PDP government got us out of debt, they (APC) came with recession, the common man is not safe, Nigeria is now the world capital of Poverty, Jobs are still lost daily, they are mortgaging our future with massive debt Laurel Chinedu added “. “Borrowing is not a bad economical activity, as long as the money is spent on the productive aspect of the economy, have Nigeria seen infrastructure all around them with these increase borrowing?. The answer is no. ,we need to create wealth not Frivolous spending Laurel Chinedu further added”. “The way Nigeria is incurring debt, we may just find out that one day all our budget will be used to service debt”. Chinedu lamented. The APC administration has grown the Federal Government external debt from $7.34 billion dollars to $17.83 billion dollars in just three years of ruling. “Laurel Chinedu further revealed that if President Muhammadu Buhari’s proposed $2.8 billion dollars Eurobond sails through it will bring the total amount of Eurobond taken by the APC led government to $9.8 billion dollars in three years”. “Earlier this year in February, the APC led government of Muhammadu Buhari collected $2.8 billion dollars and now they are requesting another $2.8 billion dollars loan, this is insane and sheer madness”. “Other debt owed includes $3 billion dollars (World Bank), $1 billion dollars (AFDB) and $300 million dollars (Diaspora). All these has led Nigeria’s debt to increase by a whopping 142% in just 3 years of APC administration”. “Investors now rush to loan money to Nigeria because of its high interest yield compared to other nations”. “I’m afraid we are gradually going back to the 90’s. You will recall that in the year 2000, the then PDP government of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo repaid $12 billion dollars debt owed by Nigeria (which was incurred during the military era) to the Paris club, with $18 billion dollars written off”. “The painful thing is that all these debts are not invested into any capital project that can pay back in the future rather as election draw closer, the APC is perfecting its plan of rigging and vote-buying hence the need to stack money rises”, Laurel Chinedu concluded.

Buhari just wants the future generation of Nigerians to be slaves to white people from all these unnecessary debts he is accumulating without any plan whatsoever about how to repay them. The level of GRAND THEFT of Nigeria's resources under Buhari is mind boggling. Oil is above $80 per barrel, our budget is $45 per barrel, - Yet Buhari is borrowing All our national assets have been sold by Buhari - Yet Buhari is borrowing Whistle blowers have returned huge amounts of money which have been unaccounted for - Yet Buhari is borrowing MTN, Foreign companies and Nigerians have been slammed with taxes under false pretenses - Yet Buhari is borrowing Excess crude account is not rising, our Foreign reserve is being depleted - Yet Buhari is borrowing Not even one notable infrastructural project that Buhari has completed - Yet Buhari is borrowing huge debts May God save Nigeria from the sweet tongue THIEVES we have in power now. 2 Likes

I have seen improvement on Lagos-Ibadan expressway better than where it was in 2015....also under construction. I have not visited other parts of the country...but I know these two in SW 1 Like |

I If Atiku can defeat dogged candidates like saraki
etal, the lifeless one is just a work over. The
analysis is simple.
North east - 70% for atiku
North Central/ Middle belt- 90% for atiku
Northwest- 40% for atiku
Southwest- 65% for atiku
Southeast - 100% for atiku
Niger delta - 80% for atiku
North Central is the determining factor and the
lifeless one has since lost his support there.
Atiku built and runs the best university in the
north. atiku established one of the best maritime
logistics company in Africa. atiku hires the best
and brightest from all tribes. contrast with Buhari
who deepened corruption in Nigeria through
tribalism and corruption. fact is that buhari
worsened corruption Nigeria from 135th to 148th
in the world. Buhari made Nigeria the poverty
capital of the world. Buhari made Lagos state the
worst place in Africa and 3rd worst on earth to
live. Buhari gave Nigeria the first recession in 25
years. Buhari made naira the weakest in history.
Buhari gave Nigeria the worst petrol price in
history. Buhari gave Nigeria two most deadly
terrorist groups in the world. Buhari spends
scarce FX abroad on hospital beds whereas he
has not built a single hospital. Be ATIKULATED!!!

"The nation’s total indebtedness to foreign and local creditors now stands at N19.16tn, the Debt Management Office has said. This is N1.8tn increase from the N17.36tn recorded at the end of December 2016. As of March 31, 2015, the country’s total debt stood at N12.06tn. This means the debt level increased by N7.1tn in two years. Segmenting the national debt, the DMO put the Federal Government’s domestic debt at N11.97tn. Three years ago, as of March 31, 2015, this component of the debt burden stood at N8.51tn. This means that within a period of two years, the Federal Government has borrowed a total of N3.46tn from domestic creditors. This shows that the domestic debt of the Federal Government has increased by 40.71 per cent. In the same period, the country’s external debt (for the federal and state governments) rose from $9.46bn to $13.81bn. This means that within the two- year period, the country’s external debt rose by $4.35bn or 45.98 per cent." Sai baba is fighting kwarrupshun. |

"Nigeria’s total domestic and foreign debt stocks as at June 30 stood at about $15.1 billion and N14.1 trillion respectively. A review of the total foreign debt profile of the Federal and the 36 states governments and the FCT also shows a continuous rise SINCE THE COMING OF THIS PRESENT ADMINISTRATION, from $10.718 billion in 2015, to $11.406 billion in 2016 and $15.047 billion in 2017. Out of the current total figure of $15.047 billion, the Federal Government accounts for $11.106 billion, or about 74 per cent, while the 36 states of the federation and Abuja owe about $3.94 billion or 26 per cent. The Federal and State government shares of the debt stock grew from $7.349 billion and $3.369 billion in 2015, to $7.84 billion and $3.568 billion in 2016, and $3.94 billion and $11.106 billion in 2017 respectively." Kwarruption kwarruption. Kwarrupt free govment that keeps borrowing money but no visible project to show for it. Nigerians can't be deceived again. |
