I was at evening mass yesterday and listened to the reverend father preach against the use of birth control contraceptives and family planning. He likened it to abortion.
He went as far as saying "Don't have sex with your wife unless you're ready to procreate". This is not the first time I'm hearing this.
We're led to believe priests are infallible but I think otherwise, they're human afterall.
Is the use of contraceptives a sin?

In other words, you Rev. Father is telling you guys that sex is a sin for married people too.

So married people with plenty kids shouldnt have sex unless they want more kids.

Exactly. He even quoted bible verses (that I can't remember) supporting the claims. I just don't get it. This is the third priest I'm hearing preaching about it. They say the famous Pope John Paul II also preached against it.

Apparently if I use a condom, I'm going to hell.

LoL! It goes a lot to show that men were not created by a god or gods or intelligent design. A person comes into puberty at say 12 years, continues to discharge sperm or have menstrual periods discharging ova, all of this is wasted for more than 10years until maybe marriage then a priest says continue to waste it. LoL where is the intelligence please?
