I'm from a Anambra and I can testify to this. We used to call him Akagum (stingy man) then.
But wen the results started showing he became so dear to us.. we could trade the whole SE governors for jus Obi..

To be honest, Peter Obi and Atiku arent the best available but the presence of an insensitive dictator who has succeeded in branding the forth largest terror group worldwide as mere criminals is something worth avoiding at all cost.

All these are money.. he was frugal in spending.
Ur state could have still worked and saved if he wasn't careless and wasteful.

Remember wen the governors led by a
Amaechi were shouting share the money and don't save for us during GEJ.
States made so much more money that many governors became wasteful..

Obi was called stingy but today while ur state government is owing salaries, Anambra is increasing workers pay and still working on projects.
