Friends have taken to social media to mourn the loss of a hardworking staff of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), who was allegedly killed by a police officer near her residence in Maitaima area of Abuja.
It’s said that the lady, Anita Akapson was shot dead on
Saturday night by the police who claimed it was a case of ‘mistaken identity’.
It was revealed that the family of the deceased has reported the issue at the police station but have not gotten any response. How sad!

Its sad that we live in a country where we cannot tell the bad guy between the police,armed robbers and assassins.so many young people have been killed by the police and nothing is being done about it.this is caused by improper recruitment of men and women into the police force,with some as retired or serving gang leaders,serving assassins,ritualist,thugs,native doctors,kidnappers to mention but a few.compare the average special unit police officer in the US,UK,with our own special unit(SARS or fsars)then u will understand me.
