At first i wondered what they are up to since they were busy trolling apple's xs and xmax flagships, now they have vindicated themselves
But 2 questions Techcapon first is their kirin processor faster than the best apple can offer 2. why is the phone not available in the US

U.S banned them for Some crappy reason. The HiSilicon Kirin is a powerful Chip on d P20 rumoured to be more powerful than the latest QC Snapdragon. And the Snapdragon when maxed out modded is more powerful than the A12 Bionic on the Apple Xs

Now this is what I call a phone, although I prefer mate 20 tear-drop notch. First 7nm chipset on android, 40MW charge damn! 30 minutes charge gives whooping 70% of battery.

pros: huge battery, super charge, 7nm kirin 980 chipset, great cam, more...
cons: wide notch, no support for micro sd card only NM(nano memory which may be rare) card up to 256gb and no headphone jack.

Apple is not an android product so I don't know if it's better than the A12 Bionic. Maybe if Apple start allowing Android makers use the chip (which is not possible) then we'll figure out. Yes it won't be sold in the US because Trump administration accuse the company of using it's phones to spy on Americans. AT&T and Verizon also refused to to business with them as a result so no need to waste their time. They can still make their profits without America.

wide notch is not really a con. Some people like it. Who needs a memory card for a phone with 256gb storage? Na food the person wan store inside?

Slap an S pen on the mate 20 pro and you have a winner. Huawei ain't playing and they are proving that by the day.

Wide notch is a con for me bro. And for the storage, Note 9 has 512gb variant and expandable storage up to 512gb and when added gives 1tb, which lots of people appreciate. Remember, this isnt one of Tecno junks that doesnt record in 4k, it consumes lots of data and you know what that means.

The updates don too much. I've not rebooted my phone for 3 weeks now cos of one update that they want to install. I don off auto updates before I download one that'll wreck my phone.
