Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state has said that the leadership of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in the South-East are not against the nomination of Mr. Peter Obi as the Vice Presidential candidate to the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for 2019 presidential election. Governor Ikpeazu spoke at the Abia State Governor’s Lodge in Aba when Obi, on behalf of Atiku, paid a condolence visit to him and the people of Abia State over the pipeline explosion in Osisioma, Ikpeazu said there was no truth in the report that governors and leader of the party in the zone were against Obi.
