Breaking: Senator Kwankwaso Declines to Contest for Senate a Second Time, cedes PDP Ticket to progeny Information reaching the EASTERN TELEGRAPH has it that the Senator Representing Kano Central in the Senate has Rescinded his earlier decision to run for Senate for a second term under the banner of the PDP. It was gathered by this paper that the Senator ceded the ticket to a Youthful and Vibrant Representative who would now slug it out with Mallam Shekarau. 1. I don't trust the source. They have a thing for spreading false information. 2. If this is true, it should be a source of concern. Will kwankwaso be willing to do a lot if he is not on the ballot box? PaChukwudi44: You just love spewing ignorance. Shekarau is his kryptonite which is why they don't see eye to eye. If a 6 month old politician like shekarau with the blessing of PMB could defeat Kwankwaso when he was sitting governor then know that the PMB and shekarau combo will always bury kwankwaso. He knows it and would rather not have that s happen to him again. The younger guy he is presenting would be his Alibi that the seat was not lost by him but by the guy. Shekarau knows the history which was why he was quick to decamp to APC and grab the ticket for the senatorial seat which victory for him is 100% guaranteed in kano as long as PMB raises his hand as his preferred candidate. 11 Likes 1 Share |
