The food even looks like 1000 soup. Very inedible looking.

I would rather do concoction rice/native jollof with that 1k.

Rice. 250
Stockfish. 200
Scent leaves. 50
Yellow pepper 100
Dry fish. 300

I should have palm oil, crayfish and other things in the house.

Only your write up alone looks more appetising than the egusi soup posted up there

But it is funny how you concluded that i might not be a good cook because of the amount of yellow pepper and the fact that i was using stockfish.

Truth is i won't use all of it...but more than half.

My family eats pepper well. My dad used use pepper to drink garri...either he sprinkled it in or chewed those green ones as he drank his garri.

Aprokodailynews:

A Nigerian Man, Prince Abidogun by name took to his Facebook wall to share photos of a terrible looking pot of soup he prepared with N1000, making list of items he used in preparing the soup.

This is coming days after a girl claimed to cook a standard pot of Egusi soup, rice and stew with just N1000.

Prince sharing the photos wrote;

So can you prepare of pot of soup with N1000? Share your comments below.

To be honest, I've eaten this type of food many times. Dude is probably a student so it's quite understandable. Enter a typical boys lodge in the evening and see what Nigerian students eat as dinner.
