I have been reading on the social media that H.E. Atiku Abubakar, must visit the US before he be considered credible enough to be elected President. This is a non issue. Nigeria is not a vassal state to the US. Donald Trump didn't visit Nigeria before Americans elected him their President. Those using this line of thought do not really understand each country has her Visa policy and can deny anyone Visa.

The current Nigerian President Mohammedu Buhari was denied US Visa several times before he became President because as that then, The United States considered Buhari as someone with extreme religious views. During the run up to the 2015, his opponent didn't use that as a campaign issue.

Another very important personality that was banned from entering the US before he became the leader of the Country, is the current Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Despite that, Indians overwhelmingly made him their leader because they knew he's an asset. Check out his scorecards below...

Atiku has the business acumen; he would create enabling environment necessary to provide jobs for millions of graduates.

Atiku means business... Atiku means jobs!

You want to sell a thief, a crook, a fraud and a wanted man to sane Nigerians? grin

You better go and get another job. This 15k a month Atiku allowance will not help you or him.

Only insane Nigerians would vote him. Thankfully majority of us are very sane.

Are you sure all this your propaganda and campaigns for atiku is borne out of your love for Nigeria? You had better channel all the energy, resources and time you're wasting in campaigning for this man on nairaland to something more productive that will give meaning to your life and that of your generation. Atiku doesn't know you are existing. If you die today, as if he cares?
If Atiku invite tinubu to his house in yola, for an occasion today, he will go there. If Buhari call atiku to aso rock today, he will be there.

You better receive sense.

Can you supplement this claim that Atiku is a thief with verifiable evidence? Which court of competent jurisdiction pronounced Atiku guilty?

It is my inalienable right to vote and be voted for and to support whoever I deem necessary. It is a fundamental right and I'm curious as to why I need to receive sense in that regard

Mention the court that pronounced him guilty because the last time I checked the accused or whatever so called is innocent until proven guilty by a court of law or are you a law unto yourself?

You can rigmarole and beat about the bush endlessly but can't mention the court that gave the verdict that Atiku is a thief. Nigeria and the United States has extradition treaty or agreement, if I'm not mistaken so, why hasn't a request been made in that regard all these years?

You still don't get or you are trying real hard to pretend you don't.

The US government declared him guilty and thus blacklisted him from stepping his fraudulent feet on US soil.

So the Nigerian Constitution mandates a presidential candidate to visit U.S first before being elected right? I quite understand BMCs are on full shift today

Not everyone is as stvpid as you are mr Man. Nobody gives a fvck about Atiku going to USA.
The point is if he is wanted for fraud in the USA or not. Or if he has been banned from the USA or not.
A presidential candidate should be an honourable man. Not any rogue.

Leave that confused guy. He wants to sell a thief and a rouge and a fraud to Nigerians.

Same man who rendered millions jobless as head of privatization under OBJ as he caused 23 of our nations assets to die so they can sell them off dubiously.

Same man who laundered money from Nigeria through his wife in USA to the tune of over $40m.

Same man who joined hands with his boss OBJ to loot Nigeria so much that both of them could no longer hide it.

I think your right to support, has gone beyond ordinary support.

Unnecessary politicking. Well, in Nigeria, politics remains the easiest and most convenient means of livelihood. Politics controls the whole system and every area of their lives, unlike in the developed world where business control their system. That is why Nigeria will remain backward, that is why they will keep assassinate one another.

Instead of them to channel their energy to business and think about technology that will generate employment and bring overall development, they will rather rely on politics, due to laziness.
It is technology and business that can transform your society.

Every country in this world has a leader who gives direction, formulate and implement policies. Technology and business thrive when the appropriate policies are formulated and implemented by the right people in power but I'm at a loss as to your point exactly. Is there any country on earth without a leader?

They don't become aggressive before they appoint a leader.

Yes, but it is also important that an aspiring president of any nation shouldn't be a Fugitive, a wanted criminal nor a money launderer.
