The outcome of the election is 50/50.

Buhari's bane is the economic situation of the country in addition to the high level of insecurity. Perceived double standard in the fight against corruption and looking the other way as regards the herdsmen are also other issues that might be termed his albatrosses.

Atiku's is solely corruption but his promise to revive the economy and improve the security situation are two strong points for him.

A hungry person prioritizes his belly, explaining the long-term benefits of the fight against corruption does not make sense to him, all he wants his immediate satisfaction, that perspective is what most Nigerians would bring to the table.

For me, Integrity comes first anyway, anytime and I'm not saying this to support Buhari but then, we all got our various opinions.

With your accurate analysis of Buhari, you are still talking about integrity? Buhari has no integrity! He has none!!

The writer on the economist has long been busted on Twitter as a paid stooge of Atiku.

He gets paid by him to write glowing reports about him.

That cannot change the fact that Atiku will so lose
When The Economist wrote that Atiku was singled out by the American Senate for corruption, you zombies masturbated over the news. Now that the same paper predicts failure for your dullard, you claim Atiku is paying their writers...
To slap you just dey hungry me.

Story! That’s how all of the bigwigs media predicted Hillary would win, some even said she had 95% chance, and some even already printed magazines with her as President before the election night. But today...Trump is President, won fair and square. Saying Atiku’s PDP isn’t a pushover is less than half the truth; the bigger truth is Buhari isn’t a pushover. Nevertheless, that’s their problem, I don’t care who wins. Both sides are “evil”, 2 different sides of the same coin. This election is just a good case point of picking the lesser of 2 evils, And honestly IMO, I think APC is the lesser devil. IMO, I think PDP’s 16 years has done more damage to Nigeria than APC’s 4 years. But what do I know. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Let those with PVC decide.
With all these killings, with all these deaths, with all the hunger and with all the corruptions, with all the debts and you still believe APC is better?

STOP saying what you ignorantly believe... The dullard has no integrity. He's as corrupt and selfish as every other Nigerian politician.

Why is the Economist giving the SWest a heads up? They should not pls so those who think they have enough numerical strength and political dexterity to deliver power or decide who governs would be taugnt some lessons in National politics.
Imagine local champions like Fashola bragging of grabbing power in 2023? who born rat? People that cant deliver the senate presidency and speaker to their stooge wants to deliver Presidency in 2023? Lol they will be taught some political lesson, we shall not only teach them some lessons but will also show them when it comes to the Nigeroan presidency, its not won with sheming but devine approval, una go know say those who dont broadcast their intentions gets to win, those who make alot pf noise end up in the bin. Shey Yorubas say they are the ones that delivered the Presidency to Buhari abi? come 2019 we shall knw who is who.

The same economist that predicted Hilary Clinton will trounce Trump. They did all kinds of polls but the rest is history, what polls have they conducted or they are using innuendos.

They are just economists and cannot be compared to politicians... they can only predict but can never determine the winner...
it is the votes of the people that will determine who wins and who doesn't.. Nigerians don't be deceived by these posts and do the needful which is voting.
Hate it or love it.... I see the hard work PMB is putting into the country.. I will vote a hard working government, an action government, not one that is bent on embezzlement of the country's fund..
PMB 2019

Sine all elections are decided by rigging, by lose they mean PDP will be able to control INEC while a sitting president looks on?

The only time rigging will happen is when a useless desk chair weak president like Goodluck Jonathan is at the helm of affairs! Mammam Daura will not let that happen...go ask the people of Osun.

Integrity is like beauty.

No no one has got it all.

Integrity is only relative.

And relative to Atiku, Buhari has integrity.

If integrity was money, Buhari would be 1 million dollars while Atiku would by 5k.

And the world knows this, but you guys can rant all you want.

If there was to be a poll both local and international about who has the highest integrity of all the presidents Nigeria has had, Buhari will be number one.

No amount of ranting can change that.

I agree with your bolded statement above...
It could be safe to say that buhari is better than Atiku in this aspect, though, there's still question marks on buhari's integrity based on the kind of people he surrounds himself with.

But looking at the situation of Nigeria right now, integrity is NOT what will save our economy, create opportunities for our teeming young graduates and curb insecurity in the north. Ideas and competence is required... And in this aspect, to every 5 ideas that buhari's ailing and archaic mind can come up with, Atiku can create 5000. The world knows this.
Even though their age difference is not much, but buhari personally admitted that old age can limit his performance in office; that, of course we've already seen in his first term in office.
Integrity is good, but it's not everything a leader needs to have.
This is 21st century... A creative leader will be more useful than an integrity leader. This is why Nigeria needs Atiku more than we need buhari.

From the events of the past three years, it is obvious Buhari has lost all credibility and will surely lose come 2019. He should be campaigning based on his achievements, but instead he is busy making fresh promises if re-elected.

PDP knows how to win in the media but they always end up losing in the polling units.

For Nigeria black is kcalb and white is etihw. You don't expect things to go right because it will just not go right. Normally PMB will not win the election but I can assure you that he will be the President for another 4 years, why? this is Nigeria!
