Update On Agege-Pen Cinema FlyOver

Stop showing pillars that have been on standstill for the past three months. There is nothing fantastic in this bridge. The attendant traffic we are experiencing due to slow paced and I'll timed construction can be better imagined than experienced. Imagine spending three four hours in traffic just because of this bridge.
The sooner it's finished the better we are tired of these progress pictures that are not really progressing anywhere.

Cultural and societal perspective needs to change for us to get things right. As long as cars keep increasing on the road, grid locks will be hard to solve.
Come up with alternative means of transport, city rails, bike paths ensure roads are well patched up, drainages fully covered. Roads covered up to houses. All these will discourage people from going out with their cars always.
Build a round city and not just roads to cars.

Ambode is a first class mooron. The guy abandoned the Mile 2-Badagry expressway to decay which is a far more strategic project than the rubbish he has been constructing across Lagos. He abandoned it because it was Fashola's legacy and the vain narcissist that Ambode is, he opted out of providing continuity to Tinubu and Fashola's projects to pursue his own vanities. Those of us that live in areas like Festac, Satellite Town and communities all along the Lagos-Badagry expressway didn't know there was a government in Lagos these past few years. A stupid, stupid man.

Now, he has been tagged black goat by his party and many people are following the pendulum of the godfathers. No one spoke for him, no one protested against the obvious injustice metted to this man and they succeed in throwing him out of the gubernatorial contest.

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode would exit the seat of power in Lagos state leaving behind several legacies.

One of such legacies is the Agege-Pen Cinema flyover and bridge ramp.

The flyover and bridge ramp, which is currently under construction, is located at the Agege bus stop-Pen-Cinema axis.

The flyover and bridge ramp is designed to unlock gridlock at the Agege-Iju-Pen-Cinema axis.

The 1.4km Pen Cinema flyover and bridge ramp will run from Agege down to the Abeokuta Expressway. It is a key intervention strategy by the Ambode administration to address the perennial traffic often associated with the area.

The on-going construction work runs day and night. Heavy lighting equipment and a massive generator have been planted at the site to ensure proper illumination for nocturnal construction activities.

The Pen Cinema flyover and bridge ramp would be equivalent to both the Ajah (Jubilee) and Abule-Egba flyover.

The project is expected to be delivered by November 2018. Though that date appears most unlikely.
