OLAADEGBU:

You can either believe man's fallible ideas that there is no God, or trust the perfect Word of God, that says there is.  It is a matter of faith whether you say God exists or not.  The exciting thing about being a Christian is knowing that the Bible is not just another religious book, but it is the Word of the Creator God, as it claims.

When did any God appear to you personally and told you that the words written in the bible are his? Tell me when that God appeared to you and told you that the bible belongs to him. . . . . .Saying that the bible is God's words without providing the God to make that assertion is nothing but a fraudulent claim. . . . .

It is only from the Bible that you will get the reason why there is beauty and ugliness; life and death; health and disease; love and hate.  Only the Bible gives the true and reliable account of the origin of all basic entities of life and the entire universe.

Reasons like death coming around because a talking snake deceived a woman in a garden to eat a fruit from a tree on knowledge, eh? Or women suffer birth pains because they ate from a fruit, animals also suffer birth pains, did they also eat from the mythical fruit too?. . . . . . .There are other religious text that pre-date the bible and also offer their own mythical explanation as to why there is pain, suffering and death. . . . .Study other religions and do not be stuck with only one mythology. . . . . .How does the bible give the true account of the origins of the universe when it very clearly states that the earth was created before the sun and the stars, its very clear that the bible God has no knowledge of observable REALITY. . . . .

I believe in the words of Democritus who to me is one of the greatest phlosophers that ever lived. . .Laws came about and were created by humans through trials and error, people heard to learn or invent what ever concept of morality they chose to accept and live by. . . . .Here are some of of his(Democritus) thoughts from wikipedia

"Democritus thought that the first humans lived an anarchic and animal sort of life, going out to forage individually and living off the most palatable herbs and the fruit which grew wild on the trees. They were driven together into societies for fear of wild animals, he said. He believed that these early people had no language, but that they gradually began to articulate their expressions, establishing symbols for every sort of object, and in this manner came to understand each other. He says that the earliest men lived laboriously, having none of the utilities of life; clothing, houses, fire, domestication, and farming were unknown to them. Democritus presents the early period of mankind as one of learning by trial and error, and says that each step slowly lead to more discoveries; they took refuge in the caves in winter, stored fruits that could be preserved, and through reason and keenness of mind came to build upon each new idea"

interesting hypothesis >>> still needs some sort of verification (experimental proofs) to be validated >>> science has long learnt not too take things as they seem undecided undecided
