Born on 27 October 1956, Dr Ameyo Adadevoh was a Nigerian physician. Credited with having curbed a wider spread of the Ebola virus in Nigeria by placing the patient zero, Patrick Sawyer, in quarantine despite pressures from the Liberian government. She died on 19 August 2014 after a spirited battle after contracting the deadly Ebola virus. May her soul continue to rest in piece.
