Rivers state governor,Ezenwo Nyesom Wike has compensated the victims of the fruit garden market fire inferno in port-harcout,Rivers state.

The fruit garden market was burnt down sometime last month,the governor also layed a foundation for the construction of a new market.

Traders with shops got #400,000 each while traders who attached got #300,000.

The importance of 2-party system.

The man beside him is the Mayor of Port Harcourt Hon. Victor Ihunwo, he was a two former member of the house of assembly, now he's the mayor,after now maybe Wike might make him governor. My thinking anyway.

wike was there within 24 hours after the inferno to sympatise with the traders .

If you have evidence of tonye cole sharing 15m to them show us otherwise just keep shut

The traders are lucky the incident didn't happen under an APC govt.
Fashola: He will ban the sale of fruits in that market, after which he will convert it to an ultra modern shopping complex owned by tinubu.

El Rufai: Citing safety concerns, he will also ban the use of the market, bulldoze whatever is left of the market and convert the location to a green area.

Rochas: He will relocate the whole market to a plot of land faraway remote village afterwards he will allocate the entire market space to one of his relations who will redevelop the market and allocate the new shops to women who are to act like the original dwellers. Hmm! This fruit garden market fire incident appears to be blessings in disguise for this traders, the money they've raked in thus far is in excess of the value of their wares....N300k - N400k from the governor and N15M from Dele Cole.

One just hope other markets don't set theirs on fire, there seem to be real dividend for market fire this fall when politicians are squabbling to impress.

I'm suspecting creek road market will be the next to go up in flames...
