DistinctAwesome:
Thanks for following back. You've been an encouragement to many and a reformer through your work. I must say that we admire you immensely. We ( the Niger Delta youths) are pained my the ongoings at NDDC, we're soliciting that you lend your voice to our struggles just the way you've done to many others. A thread will help greatly and when this trends, the change we very much desire will come.
Our present plight is caused by no other than @NsimaUEkere the NDDC MD. Here are the details:
Before the Buhari administration came into power, the NDDC was credible and living up to it's expectation. The scholarship scheme which was our major aid towards foreign education was running smoothly. One Mrs Seminatri was in charge and merit was rewarded. Each year, after the CBT( every candidate views scores after clicking the submit button), scores are published online, then interviews conducted. Eventual beneficiaries are then selected based on a combination of the performance from the CBT and interview. All those who make it to the interview are given a #10,000 stipend to cover basic charges. Those eventually selected were also published and each candidate, saw the transparency. That was last done in 2016 by Jonathan's appointee.
However, since Nsima came on board, the CBT test was conducted last year( scores weren't published). Then the interview was conducted, just when the list of successful applicants were expected, the scheme was declared inconclusive. The Consultant used for the test was presumably paid along with the Professors and professionals from other fields used for the interview. Even the meagre stipends to cover transportation and the like was paid about eleven months after with an accompanying deduction ( 8k+ instead of the full 10k). But grapevine has it that some people were secretly sponsored( I don't know how true this is though).
This year's CBT was also conducted by the same consultant, interviews held with September 21 promised as the date of the release of the list. But, as I speak nothing is out yet. Nsima is busy with becoming the next Governor of his state.

The questions that are begging for answers: what happened to the monies appropriated for the scholarship? Why was the scheme operating flawlessly only to start having problems once Buhari and his cronies came on board? Just this week, Nsima Ekere was in the news for driving to a hotel in Abuja in a G-wagon attempting to stop the appeals to contest the elections that he and other's won during the APC primaries in Akwa-Ibom. Why go to such extent with bags filled with dollars, when youths who should rightly benefit are being denied?
We want him to do the right thing. Release the #NDDC2018ScholarshipList. He has an opportunity
to write his name on gold, but he's destroying it in his bid to become a governor.
I forgot to mention that contractors are owed(it's also in the news lately, while the skill acquisition has suffered the same fate as the scholarship.

We're been oppressed from the Oil wealth which is collectively ours. Please, come to our rescue, the time is NOW!
Thank you.

It is not much now my guy.
It is just painful they tell people to come and write exam and tell them to come for interview and after interview they tell you the scholarship is inconclusive
People risk their lives on the road From Yobe,Lagos, Kaduna twice to come for both interview and EXAM each year and they will come back and say it is inconclusive.
Lats year someone had accident and came for interview with blood stains just imagine how you feel when they tell you.The process is inconclusive
