All of you shouting that the minimum wage is too small, are you the one who is going to pay it if it is fixed at 50k? As it is, many states can't pay salaries. What you should be clamoring for is the reduction of the salaries and emoluments of political office holders. Nigeria is a poor country with a huge population. Employers can't afford minimum wage of 50k

If they can't afford it, then reduce the size of govt.
