Information reaching us has it that the governor of imo state has Dumped the party All Progressives Congress for Social Democratic Party.

According to sources, the governor and his inlaw moved to the SDP in order to contest for the governorship election.

this is coming barely 48 hours to the publication of candidates name by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Only fools who don't know Rochas would doubt this. If APC fails to give Nwosu ticket, Rochas would remain at APC while his son-in-law would decamp to SDP.

If APC gives Nwosu ticket, Hope would decamp to APGA and Rochas can never win all the political heavy weights in Imo. It is not possible.

OP I don't think Rochas will defect to SDP.

Worse case scenario:

He will remain in APC to work for Buhari and himself during the Presidential/National Assembly elections.

Meanwhile, Ugumba Nwosu, will defect to fly SDP or another party flag in the Gubernatorial election. Rochas would then use his structure to work for Ugumba's success during the election of his in-law.
