The parable of the sower as taught by our Lord Jesus is trully an eye opener. Howbeit when meditated upon yields an explosive spiritual invasion especially as narrated by Mark.

4 categories of people were deliberated on. It is worthy to note that the 1st person is an unbeliever while the remaining 3 are those who have accepted the Lordship of Jesus.

To the 1st person, it is a very serious case because the devil is a direct influencer. The devil has free entry & exit in the life of an unbeliever that is why when the word is sown the devil IMMEDIATELY takes it away. Are you ready to submit to Jesus now?


To the 2nd person, a believer because the entrance of the word birthed joy upon reception but it's not about jumping, dancing & shouting "Ride on pastor". Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus?

To the 3rd person, a true reflection of a person who carries Bible up & down, attends all the church services, in the choir, ushering, a Sunday school teacher yet nothing Christ like in attitude & output academically, financially & all round but blames village people. Most 21st century christians are here. Alot contributes to this most especially peer group influence. Will you look up to Jesus and Jesus alone?

Finally! God's favourite! The 4th person. It's the Father's wish we become this, faithful, fruitful & successful. So why are we letting ourselves fall short of the father's wish?
