Hello Nlanders, I find this amusing and annoying. I went to the Texaco filling station at Ojota to buy fuel and was told I have to pay 5o naira to buy fuel into a 5ltr keg. I was furious and the idiot said that there is a directive from the government not to sell into kegs again. I spoke with someone there who claimed he was the manager of the station and he also confirmed it and said they are collecting the money to "help" us.    I later went to Total and the same thing was going on but the attendant at Total confessed it was to make ends meet and not because someone said they should not sell in Kegs. Am posting this to find out if the same thing is happening else where. looking forward to your response |
