You're probably older than me, but I'm so happy to be born in that 'bridge' generation known as the 80s... To witness phenomena like Michael Jackson, Mandela, Larry King, Oprah, Mike Tyson, Mike Jordan, Diana, John Paul II, etc..at their prime, in flesh in the present tense. I even regret missing the 70s, but at least I smelt it and actively relived it.

He balled in life, he is balling in death. I remember Steve Harvey say in a standup gig that MJ had Giraffe money, while average celebrities can't have two dogs because one was already tied at the yard.

Michael was a blend of talent, determination, hard work and dedication to his craft. He topped that by being a perfectionist. Yearly the establishment tries to rubbish his memories with bad propaganda but those who truly love him know he can't be held down even in death.
He was the best there ever was and will be, no one comes close. I met Marlon once and had a long chat with him and I will never forget when he looked me in the face and said... 'Pure musical entertaimment died when Michael died'
