CODIFY is a tech meet-up where enthusiast in the tech industry meet to discuss the past, present and future of tech in Nigeria and Africa. The first edition held in February 2018 and was themed “The Future is Code” and it featured elaborate discussions on Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Machine Learning, Intelligent Apps, Intelligent Things, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Digital Twin, Mesh App and Service Architecture.

Come 29th and 30th of November 2018 Vatebra Academy alongside Vatebra Limited will host the 2nd edition of CODIFY which will see tech enthusiast and practitioners gather again to meet, discuss and innovate in the disruptive tech space as it relates to Africa.

This year’s edition of CODIFY is themed “The Anatomy of Code” and the objective is aimed at helping young coders or enthusiast to understand fragmental concepts of codes and how they are increasingly becoming the building blocks of today’s world. Major innovative & disruptive technologies in the tech space would be discussed at CODIFY 2.0, the meetup will provide an atmosphere for learning, collaborations, and interchange of information.

In improvement to the previous edition, CODIFY 2.0 will deepen the ongoing deliberation and potentials in the areas of Block-chain, Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Machine Learning, Intelligent Apps, Intelligent Things, and Virtual & Augmented Reality, Digital Twin, Mesh App and Service Architecture. CODIFY 2.0 will serve as a medium for different groups in the tech industry represented to collaborate towards one goal.

Lastly, you don’t have to be a coder to be at CODIFY meetups, all you need is the enthusiasm and the love for code. Lovers or new comers in the coding space can begin to learn to code at CODIFY 2.0, they can also take advantage of the Vatebra Innovation Hub, besides being a campus for coders, it also support co-sharing and tech-incubation.
