In as much as I hate Buhari for some obvious security reasons, I am convinced, the country Nigeria for now can only get better via his leadership style. The reason most Nigerians dont like President Buhari is simple,: They are so used to looting to an extend that they cant do without it. BOTTOM LINE= Give President Buhari another 4 yrs and see corruption minimised. 2 Likes |

Why are people trying so hard to defend buharys faliure? If sm1 has performed we will see it,feel it and appreciate it. The trajectory of buharis policies, capacity, crediblity, economic competence, performance and even body language cannot take us anywhere good or better. They can’t give what they don’t have. 1 Like |

Rather illogical to try atiku again. Thank you Are you crazy?? who told you Nigeria's problem started 1999?? the cursed regimes if the military fools like Buhari , IBB, Abacha etc destroyed this nation.... We gave Jonathan a chance, after 4 years he didn't do enough... Buhari is agsin in now, 4 years, nothing acheived... Let's try another person like Atiku, who is the strongest opponent, a chance at 4 years too....[/quote] |

Didn't Jonathan increase same and paid yet you accuse of mismanagement? 2)Oga Prof, what's our savings now? since price of crude has been relatively above oil benchmark... 3)What's the implementation percentage of capital projects since 2015? 4)What's debt ratio to economic growth since buhari presidency? 5)What factors contributed to recession if not Buhari's economic mistakes? 6)Is it a coincidence that he managed recession in 1983 & 2015? 3 Likes 1 Share |

Nigeria problem started since 1984 when General Buhari.took us to recession. when Obj became President, oil price was less than 22 dollars, our foreign reserves was less than 3 Billion dollars and our foreign debt was about 60 billion dollars and we were almost at recessio.. He didn't complain, he didn't past govt. He was able to reduce our debt to less than 12 billion, our foreign reserves shot up to above 40billion and economy was booming and yet price of oil was less than 60 dollars. pls don't let us celebrate mediocre and go for the best.it is a fact that Buhari lack capacity to manage the economy, provide security with what is going on in the middle belt and his foreign policy is second to zero. 2 Likes 1 Share |

If he Buhari did all these...why is Nigeria economy still comatose and about to enter another recession? We need to try another government ....Buhari has failed...If Atiku fails...we try another one....three years is enough to set the right steps....there is nothing on the ground to show it will improve...for one, dollar is not coming down. For a serious government...it would have encourage PRODUCTION....Agriculture is good but the values added are neither here nor their...prices of foodstuffs are still up there 3 Likes |

cute9ja:Nigeria did not get independence 16 years ago. I wondered why all her problems started 16 years ago. Is there a collective amnesia here or this is just how we roll in politics. My take, give Buhari 100 years in power he can’t give what he don’t have. Buhari is not a leader simply. I’m however unconcern whether he wins or not. I’m rather concern about the number of people his foot soldier kill if he didn’t win like in 2003, 2007 and 2011. Remember his infemous baboon and blood quote. |

This Tolu guy just pointed to the raw fact, that most people are shy to face, the 7 trillion he mentioned are money that a statutory government ought to disbursed to either oil companies, retirees and state governments. the truth is you can not understand what is happening in government if you did not experience the maladministration of PDP for 16 years. |

I think that the president should resign because the problems he inherited are too much for him to handle. Afterall, he once said that he wanted to run away the first time he saw the level of corruption and debts he inherited. So Mr. president, stop suffering urself and resign, age is not on ur side to tackle this kind of problem, but am still surprised that u still want to recontest despite the huge debts and liabilities. pls resign and leave these huge problems for osinbajo to tackle, or stop complaining... shikeena. i dont like it when u and ur supporters make us believe that u are not enjoying being the president, that u are suffering there . please and please again. HELP US NO MORE, JUST RESIGN. ABI NA BY FORCE TO HELP ME? |

Whynotthetruth: If you want fact and figures I believe you are smart enough to find them, if not I can't help you, or better still flip through the pages of Nairaland you will see reports released by debt management office. But even if you read them you will refuse to see what's in front of you. You can't compare the circumstances Buhari operates with that of Jonathan. Only people driven by sentiments do this, like you. Buhari's economic decision was not bad, at first I criticized it, but obviously Buhari knew something we don't. Buhari banned importation of goods, implement the use of TSA, rigorous approach to agriculture, going after looted funds. Then he cleared the backlog owed petroleum marketers, more than 3 batches of bail out funds were given to governors to clear salary and pension areas. If your GEJ government was such a success how come Buhari is the one paying off and clearing these debts, with how much? If you are being honest with your self you will see that oil crossed the $50 mark per barrel not long ago, even at that it's no where near, $110 per barrel, and you are comparing them side by side? how dumb. I have told you guys go and read the American recession under Obama and its effects, you will see that Buhari handled the recession well. |
