NAHAC 2018: DR MIKE OMOTOSHO CONDEMNS POLLUTION, SAYS ITS A POTENTIAL TSUNAMI DURING THE NATIONAL HEALTH ADVANCEMENT CONFERENCE The 2018 maiden edition of National Health Advancement Conference and Awards - NAHAC, has defined a new demand on our national interest and collaborative efforts, as Dr. Mike Omotosho, the chairman and guest speaker, stresses on pollution as an issue of national concerns and worry. The conference and awards event, organised by the founder of Help Keep Clean Foundation, Queen Chikezie Ijeoma Stella, was themed, Reawakening National Awareness on Environmental Health Hazards and Safety. The ceremony witnessed the dignified presence of Her Excellency, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Saraki, wife of the distinguished senate president and Founder, Wellbeing Foundation Africa, who was represented as the special guest of honour, Hon. Mallam Ibrahim Jubril, Honourable Minister of Environment, Baba Shehu Lawan, DG. Abuja Environmental Protection Board and most significant, the World Health Organisation country Representative, Dr. Wondimagegehu Alemu who was warmly represented by Dr. Edwin Isotue. While speaking at the event that was graced by outstanding personalities across national and international health/humanitarian agencies, Dr. Mike Omotosho, the Chairman of the occasion and Founder of Mike Omotosho Foundation, emphasized on the required collective role needed to engage positive change in environmental health hazards across Nigeria. He stressed that the environmental health sector is one amongst few that requires collective individual influence to bring about change and progress. He stated that the increased pollution across Nigeria holds weighty waters as potential tsunami. Dr. Mike Omotosho is known for his vast relevance in humanity, governance and leadership. His outstanding vibrance and intellectual potency has sustained his inevitable relevance in our national circumference. As the recognised chairman of Labour Party, Dr. Mike Omotosho remains a true nationalist, who is dedicated to national development and individual growth.
