I've lived a thousand years thinking I'm alive
I've killed a million soul thinking I would survive
I hit the highest speed
Thinking I'd end up first
only to be reversed
I spoke millionly
Thought there would be time to be reserved
I found a billion more reason to speak
I hit the gym for strength
But ended up weak
I squeeze the cow for milk
I drank and fell sick
Stole yet poor
Cheated and still failed
I ran
But I was running in circle
I fought
I was fighting the shadows
I changed my ways
But it still didn't pay
Then
I heard a voice saying
Grace is better than race
And obedience than sacrifice
I heard but ignore
That voice must be an illusion
I thought
But again the Word came
It said
"I'm the way the truth and the life"
