The voters in Kaduna state will in 2019 be voting in a referendum on whether Gov el-Rufai has fulfilled the promises he made to the people of kaduna state who elected him and even those who did not vote for him; i. e, has he made kaduna state better than he met it in 2015 in the following indices,among others:
1. Hunger
2. Employment/Jobs
3. Infrastructure
4. Education
5. Quality of life
6. Uniting the people
7. Security
8. Protecting the culture of the people.
The choice of a deputy ( whether Christian or Muslim or animist, whether from zone one, two or three, male or female) can not be of as much relevance as the above indices listed above! Dr Hadiza is a true daughter of Southern kaduna from Sanga and has as much right as any son or daughter of the region to aspire to be Deputy Governor of Kaduna state. If her choice by el-Rufai is to show that Southern kaduna is full of bigots, then he has failed! The people of the region will not vote for him because he has failed in all his promises and not because of his choice of Dr Hadiza Balarabe. He has brought more hunger in the state through the thousands of workers he has sacked. He has made kaduna state the Headquarters of kidnaping in Nigeria. Our roads are much worse than they were in 2015. The people of the state are more disunited today than in 2015 through his deliberate policies of bigotry. He has completely destroyed the traditional institutions which have served as the symbol of unity of the people in the state!

This is why el-Rufai will lose the elections in 2019 and nothing else. He is looking for reasons that will show the state as made up of bigots like the selection of a female Muslim from SK as running mate. The records show that we have elected both muslims and Christians into executive, party and legislative offices in Southern Kaduna just as has happened in the Northern part of the state. Nobody can be deceived by this evil ingenuity!!!
