Despite earning far less than previous administrations, the Buhari presidency has achieved so much in its efforts to reverse the years of abandonment, decay and impunity as evident in the changes seen across different sectors of the economy, and national life, according to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN.

Prof. Osinbajo who stated this on Saturday at the 2018 Annual Lecture of the Barewa Old Boys Association (BOBA) in Sokoto, insisted that “clearly, we may not have seen all of what we expect to see, but the changes in our nation are not so difficult to see”.

South Korean Trade Minister Kim Hyun-Chong says the waiver “opens breathing room” for South Korea’s oil refining industry and companies that export to Iran.

ANGRY YOUTHS BLOCK EAST-WEST ROAD IN PROTEST AGAINST FLOOD DISASTERS AS PREGNANT WOMAN DIES
A pregnant woman who was due for delivery and was on her way to the hospital died due to stress and anxiety following the blockade of the East-West road by youths in Nkpolu community of Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State in protest against flood disaster in the area.

The incident occurred when the vehicle conveying her to the hospital was forced to stop and there was no available vehicle to convey her to the hospital as all motorists all ran for their lives.

The pregnant woman and a young person died, while four others were injured.

OSINBAJO: 1.1M NIGERIANS BENEFIT FROM GEEP, OVER 800,000 RECEIVING N10,000 INTEREST-FREE LOANS

In continuation of the Buhari administration’s TraderMoni scheme, which has so far given N10,000 collateral and interest-free loans to over 800,000 petty traders nationwide, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, was expected to be in Lagos Monday to formally launch the scheme in other markets in the state.

The Vice President launched the scheme in Ketu, Bariga and Oshodi markets in Lagos.

While there are so far over 809,000 beneficiaries of TraderMoni, over 1.1 million Nigerians – market women, traders, artisans, farmers – are currently beneficiaries of GEEP, which comprises FarmerMoni, MarketMoni and TraderMoni.

It is indeed obvious that this administration has zero tolerance for corruption and its investment on infrastructure can not be over emphasized considering the Completion of abandoned rail projects and as well major roads being constructed. Indeed we are in line for true change
