There is nothing wrong with the car . It is just the brand ,market and price . Nigerians and the Nigeria people are a one way traffic thinking society, once they believe I'm something they will hardly try any other option again. The Nigeria market currently believe that Toyota is the best for our roads , therefore any other brand is like a no go area to them. Only few Nigerians do venture to try other products . Remove the VW label on that car and place Toyota ,then increase the price ,you will see how people will rush and be begging for it. In view of this one has to consider the price when selling a product outside the market favourite. Now gradually ppl are turning back to Volvo, few educated ppl are turning to it. Soon it may gain enough popularity. Thirdly , anything apart from Toyota or honda ,ppl believe their parts and specialist will be scarce ,hence they believe good cars like this VW are exclusively for the rich who can afford to bear the high cost of maintaining it
