You mean government in time past have called on Labour that there is excess money in government purse, and would like to know if Labour is ready to receive an increment?

I think to cure the epidemic partisan idiocy that has enveloped Nigeria, there is a need to ban all political parties and existing politicians, and start afresh with new ones.

It is simply a revelation of the dismal degree governance has degenerated to in Nigeria. The government grudgingly gave in to the popular, legitimate, and unwavering demand of labour not out of patriotism and commitment to good governance, or because it understood the significance of improving the welfare of labour. The organised labour's heroic triumph over reactionary forces is a consequence of the fear that allowing strike action might jeopardise the political fortunes of the government in next year's election. An exasperating but pupolar report reads that Buhari "endorses" 30,000 minimum wage reached with labour. This is supposed to be a democratic dividend in an oil-producing state that is ironically the country with the lowest minimum wage in the world. This caption apparently depicts how low the government is willing to descend in search of political capital to shore up its fast depreciating rating. I am at this point compel to ask who streamlined the term of reference used for negotiation? Was the goverment team negotiating on their power and discretion? The fact that Buhari has to approve an agreement that supposedly emanated from his office shows the level of disconnect between Buhari and his team.
