"Hope Uzodinma Can't Win Election In Imo" - Okorocha by HossanaDonHozzy: 7:23am On Nov 10, 2018
Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state, yesterday said that Senator Hope Uzodimma, who is the state governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has no capacity to win election in Imo.

Okorocha said this in a statement to newsmen in Owerri, by his Chief Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemeodo.

It stated: “Even when we have not said or written anything about Chief Hope Uzodinma since the controversy over the governorship ticket of All Progressives Congress, APC, for the State began, he took up the Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha in the media, claiming that the governor underestimates his unpopularity among other insulting remarks. And we swiftly want to say interalia:

“We won’t honour Chief Hope Uzodinma with response because even when politics today seems to be all comers affair people should be humble enough to know their superiors in certain areas of life.”

Okorocha warmed that,”Chief Hope Uzodinma is not a member of APC in Imo State. His purported membership of the Party was announced in Abuja. He has never attended any APC meeting either in his ward or in his Local Government, Oru-East or at the State level. And that is why no APC member in the State was excited when the Party’s National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole announced him as his preferred governorship Candidate of the Party in the State.”

The governor claimed that, “APC members in Imo see Chief Uzodinma as still a staunch member of PDP and that was the reason behind the dead silence in Imo over the announcement of his name as the governorship Candidate of the party. If Chief Uzodinma was to be a known member of the Party, there would have been celebration in Imo. The Chieftains of the Party in Abuja backing him are elite Politicians who have no relationship with the grassroots.

“Governor Rochas Okorocha won his election in 2011 on the platform of APGA through the ballot box. Ditto, in 2015 on the ticket of APC. And in the two cases, the parties were not in Power at the Federal level.

“So, he did not enjoy any Federal might. Imo people voted for him for whom he is. And the love is still intact. In 2011, he defeated an incumbent governor of PDP extraction and in 2015 he also defeated a sitting Deputy-Speaker of the House of Representatives also of the PDP stock. How else do you measure popularity?

“In the case of Chief Uzodinma, the story is totally different. In 2011, he took the Senate Seat for Orlu zone from Chief Osita Izunaso through the Court. In 2015, Nigerians knew what transpired in Imo. The State was invaded with armed Security Personnel by the PDP leaders like Chief Uzodinma and the rest is history.”

Okorocha’s view was that, “ Chief Uzodinma can never win election in Imo in a fee and fair election. And that is why the PDP and APGA members are those celebrating his K – leg governorship Candidature for Imo APC.

“Since Chief Uzodinma has begun to throw stones, not considering the fact that he lives in a badly constructed glass house we challenge him to publish his profile for the public to see and let Rochas also publish his own.

“Rochas Okorocha was born in Ogboko and he grew up in Jos. He attended St. Joseph Primary School, Barkin Ladi Jos, and Juladaco High School Jos. He has LLB and LLM of the University of Jos, Post – Graduate Diploma in Management, of the Benue State University.

“By 1984 Rochas Okorocha had opened Kings Commercial College Jos. In 1996, he founded the Rochas Foundation Inc and Rochas Foundation Colleges. He founded the Rochas Group of Companies with interest in Real Estate, Aviation, Banking, Hotels, Construction, Commerce and so on.

“Rochas Okorocha has investments and Commercial buildings in Imo before becoming governor. He has two Rochas Foundation Colleges, one in Owerri and one in Ogboko. Has a Printing Press, and a Hotel. Has some of the biggest Commercial buildings in Owerri, and all before becoming governor.

“Let Chief Uzodinma mention any building he owns in Owerri or any investment he has in any part of the State no matter how small, then we take off from there.

“Those who write these things for people like Chief Uzodinma should always count their teeth with their tongues before taking up other people in the media. You do not do such thing knowing the deficiencies of the man you are writing for. A reasonable someone who lives in a glass house does not throw stones at all, and not to talk of doing so indiscriminately.”

Painful Tears of Imo People.

Governor Okorocha, we have a moral question for you, that is if you still have morals and conscience in you as a christian which you professes

In 2011 during the Imo Political Debate , you boasted that you are descending to be Governor, and promised to do only one term and hand over to Owerri Zone, but you reneged on that promise made before God and man at the Assumpta Cathedral Church Owerri and completed your constitutionally Guaranteed two terms of eight years as Executive Governor of Imo State but rather than look for a credible technocrat from Owerri Zone or Okigwe Zone as your successor in the spirit of equity and fairness , you resorted to building Okorocha's political dynasty in Imo State by insulting the entire Imo populace that the only qualified and credible candidate to succeed you in office is your first son in-law, Uche Nwaosu, meaning that upon the expiration of your tenure as Governor, while your wife is vacating her office as the First lady of Imo state your first daughter Uloma will step in , Mother will be handing over to her daughter .

Governor Okorocha, recall that the only Ministerial slot that came to Imo state you gave it to your in-law whose Son married your second daughter Prof Anthony Anwuka, your reign as the Governor of Imo State you have seized and confiscated all state lands and shared it among your family members, you have displaced a lot families in Imo State by the demolition of virtually all the markets in the state, forcing many families whose means of livelihood depends on those markets into abject poverty while your family members became millionaires overnight. You have continued to play politics with the welfare of the elderly by refusing to pay their pensions, citing pension fraud as an excuse, civil servants are not left out in your harsh policies, hence you have reduced their salary to 70% thereby impoverishing Imolites.

You have destroyed all the roads in the state in the name of your urban renewal project, flood has taken over the entire state, it is amazing that you have barely five months to leave office yet these roads are still in shambles, nothing has been done till date, now that the rains are over , what are you still waiting for ?, another rainy season to be used as excuse as usual , it is very painful and wicked of you that while other states are celebrating good and laudable projects, you are constructing sub-standards roads in Imo which are failing before your very eyes .

Governor Okorocha should know that with what he has done in Imo ,history and posterity will never forgive him , you have written your name in the negative side of history, you have been tested with leadership of Imo State and you failed woefully and exhibited a level of greed unknown to mankind, your fantasy of becoming the President of this country has become an illusion because you have exposed to the whole nation the true character of the man called Rochas Okorocha .

With your poor leadership style if Nigeria as a nation make the mistake of entrusting the treasury of this nation into your care then we will migrate from third World to Sixth World and brace up for the worst from you because your son in-law must succeed you at all cost at the detriment of entire nation, probably plugging the country into another civil war.

The Imo people that gave you the mandate you and your family members are enjoying today are all in tears and pains because of your policies and actions, rather than reward them with good economic projects as witnessed in other states, you resorted to land grabbing, deceit and financial embezzlement of the highest order, imagine the video that has gone viral in the social media exposing your wife's estate at Akachi ,what a corrupt family.

Remember Governor Okorocha, with your mansions and properties scattered all over the nation, all the billions in the banks both local and overseas, everybody will end up at the level (Grave) which is not up to the size of one room and you have destroyed the reputation of your family because Nde Imo will never allow or entrust leadership of the state to any other member of the Okorocha family, we will not forget the pains and horror inflicted on us by the Okorocha's in a hurry. .

By the grace of God Governor okorocha's so called myth of invincibility and his dream of creating a political dynasty in Imo has crumbled, Imo still lives.
