Looking at the present situation and the things happening to Christians nowadays..... Do you think its advisable for a Christian to have weapon for protection??

Yes

It is right to have a weapon to defend yourself; so long as you are not using it to attack others. Come to think of it , even the Europeans and Americans who gave us Christianity have weapons in which they use in defending themselves. So in my own opinion, it is right .

The nation of Israel exist today because God is with her and because he taught her to war( or to fight war) Children of God should be peaceful but if anyone comes to kill you, you shouldn't fold your hand

yes it may be right. but you people have to think well before involving your self into that mascreant act.

As a human when your security is not guaranteed you are obligated to carry weapon for protection.

Yes. You should also look into non-lethal weapons like pepper spray and tasers because killing people is not the only way to protect yourself.

I'm professor of bible by his grace .Yes Jesus told his disciples to sell their clothes and use the money to buy weapon (sword ) to protect themselves. God doesn't do for man what he can do for himself.God usually interfere in areas that is beyond us or out of our control .

now I can see everyone is convinced that having a weapon is okay....and since we are quoting from the Bible,2 Corinthians 10:3-4 comes to mind.
