Why Peter Obi Is Taking The Bullet. by mekaboy(m): 5:31pm On Nov 11, 2018
Peter obi is taking the shots today as If he will be president of Nigeria. Those attacking him are coming from both PDP and APC. Remember that those ruling Nigeria are both from PDP and APC. They have something in common which is personal interest.

If you were in PDP and it's not favoring you, you jump to APC or from vice versa. And by favoring I mean getting your hands on the national cake.

Now most people in APC/PDP are not worried about Atiku because they believe that it could be business as usual with Atiku, since he is one of them.

But their fear is peter obi. Peter obi was hated by the elite and rich in Anambra state. He was called stingy because he refused to be part of the business as usual government.

He used local carpenters, and awarded contracts to common people who had no connections. A lot of people can testify that they tried their luck and put in proposal in Anambra state and were shocked to be called by the governor.

Those who also got contracts will tell you that they hardly made more than 20 percent profit. There was no room to inflate the prices because peter obi had almost the phone by numbers of all those selling building materials and other items in the main market. He will call them and put the phone on speaker and you will hear the price. Then tell you to go and adjust your proposal to be reasonable.

While the ordinary people would celebrate The contract at 20% profit. The rich men in Anambra saw it a humiliation. Normally when u do a contract of 50 million, you should be making up to 100 million profit. Because the contract will be awarded at 500 million and by the time everyone gets there share, you can get 100 million. But that was not the case with obi, most rich men did not do contract under obi and only the ordinary Anambrarians were enjoying. People like innoson and others got their first government patronage without connections.

So the fear of both the PDP and APC politicians is that, Atiku might listen to peter obi, and he will repeat what he did in Anambra. Where ordinary people will now be walking into ministries and getting contracts while the big men starve because the profit is not what they are use to. They won't be able to write that they cut grace with 200 million or that they spend 3.5 million feeding someone in detention under obis watch.

So that is why obi is targeted like he is going to be president. The gullible Nairalanders that do not know that they are the ordinary Nigerians that will benefit from obi's administration, are joining the looters to attack him.

How do you think he was able to save for Anambra, invest in both local and foreign bonds and invest in profitable business ventures that still pay Anambra till date.

Before Obiano drunken media come to talk from the beer parlour.

Tell us what happened to the multimillion dollar ugu industry.

Show us the over $10 billion investment obiano attracted.

Show us pictures of the $2 billion cargo airport.

So for those that want this Nation to prosper vote support obi. Those that want the looters to prosper, join them in attacking obi.

This might sound good to anybody who loves Obi or is deluded. But the OP's angle is not true.
The truth is that it is easy to fan anti-Igbo flames in the north. With the history between the two tribes. Obi is being targeted simply because he is Igbo. Na market wey dey easy to spoil.
The people who are spoiling his market don't need to hate or envy him. But if you look at the events of the last two three years under Buhari with Kanu's wahala and all, you can see why it is so easy to do.

Most northerners and indeed Nigerians in general are illiterates so things like this always work.
Buhari and Atiku are both Fulanis. And Atikus corrupt image is already well known. If you place him beside Buhari, he will lose any day. Now they have moved on to attacking his running mate. That's the next level.

The next thing after that now is they will say Atiku is pro Biafra with all that restructuring thing he says he supports. Illiterate northerners no like hear the word.

Peter Obi is just market that is easy to spoil in the north. That's all. He understands it, I am sure. You sef, try reason things from ordinary illiterate northerner angle.
It's just the struggle to rule illiterate masses that's going on here.

Yes there is a battle to rule illiterates. But the whole Buhari anti corruption bubble has been busted. Nigerians no longer regard him as Mr integrity. So they will prefer the Atiku looter that provides jobs than a man of integrity, under whose watch over 10 million Nigerians have lost their jobs.

The problem with obis choice is simply because he is not a money sharer. Once u see politicians against somebody, most of the time it's for their personal interest.

Both PDP and APC members are not happy with atikus choice of obi. But this should tell Nigerians that atiku wants to be the one who fixed Nigeria.

No, we are talking about Peter obi that saved millions of dollars for Anambra state. Attracted sabmiller that provided jobs.

Chaired fidelity bank and other companies. Employs many in both Next and other businesses.

Patronized local businesses in Anambra. Improved education. And has been going all around Nigeria giving to schools.

The only governor that agreed to save for Nigeria for the rainy day.

The only governor that did not have office of first lady. A governor that left assets instead of debt.

A good resource manager.

One that knows that SME growth drives the economy.

That's the peter obi I am talking about and that's the peter obi Nigeria needs today.

The same Peter Obi that even Okey Ndibe chastised for his ethnic bigotry?

Atiku picked a liability to his ticket.

Soludo would have been a better pick since no one can actually pin his tribal disposition like that of Obi

Pay back with high level of unemployment?

Pay back with poverty capital?

Pay back with over 10 million jobs lost?

Payback with medical trips abroad?

Pay back with disregard for the rule of law?

Payback with massive glaring corruption?

Who exactly are they paying back? Peter obi and Atiku or the gullible masses that voted Buhari?

Even those that worked in Tinubus television station that voted buhari were not spared in the job loss.

He does not need to convince northerners, they are the worst hit by buharis incompetence. Emir of kastina came crying that hunger is finishing Buharis own people.

So they can choose to be deceived by their leaders or say enough is enough. Either ways, they will be the losers.

Stop parroting nonsense.

Come up with specifics about the industry that lost 10M
The people that lost “jobs” are those rent seekers living false lifestyles in Abuja and any other place from the proceeds of PDP corruption

Those are farmers, they don’t depend on govt to open up the forex windows for everyone to import all sort of rubbish into the country and buy forex at CBN weekly bazaar that was obviously unsustainable

Most of them are far more insulated from the vagaries of the economy than you are.

Igbos think everyone else in Nigeria is foolish except them. Nigerian politicians are scammers only Igbo politians are saints n not bigots but only Igbo politians do not have other Nigerians in their state cabinet but Igbo accuse every other Nigerian of bigotry nepotism n hate.

Igbos Indeed give bigotry a whole new meaning. This OP want Nigerians to believe Peter Obi is the next thing to Jesus cos he’s Igbo but we all know no Nigeria politician is without his or her baggage. Igbo believe they have a right to criticize other, tongue lash n insult them but expect their own politicians to be adhered revered n worship. What hypocrisy can be more than that.

You can't eat your cake and have it. You don't expect igbos to invest in your state without recognising them. If you want appointment in igboland come and invest.

It's the same bigotry bigbos that provide transportation that moves every Nigerian from one region to the other.

They're the only ones that invest, build and live peacefully with people in other regions.

The real bigots are the ones that can't travel outside their region, waiting for igbos to go to other regions, buy goods, bring and sell to them.

If you feel obi is corrupt and a loiter, help APC nail him with facts.

The question to ask is what is there in Ibo land to invest in? What is going to be the attraction in Ibo land for anyone to come to, when we know that once you have a problem with govt, the first thing you are looking for to destroy is non-indigenes properties like you always burn Dangote trucks anytime you want to do your madness.

There is absolutely no reason to invest in an hostile environment like igboland
