Sisa Travels and Tours - A scam agency
Please beware of a new scam system of this travel agency called Sisa Travels and Tours. I fell a victim and I was scammed and duped to the tune of N700,000.
This is how they did it. An advertisement was placed on social media for a job prospect in Canada. I called one of their customer Care to confirm if they really do what was advertised and she gave me an assurance of 110%.She also promised to refund my money if it did not work out. l was initially asked to pay N350,000 which I did. After one month an employment letter was purportedly sent to me from Canada which I was told to sign and returned. I did. Having done this I was again told to deposit another N350,000
Thereafter, I was sent a form to be completed and send back with my CV and other credentials. I later received a mail that I had been booked for biometric at the Canada embassy It was stated in the mail that the biometric appointment takes between two and four weeks to be approved. That was in June this year. Later when no invitation was forthcoming from the embassy for biometric I started calling and sending mails to find out what was happening and also the delay in biometric appointment. Initially, they were trying to calm me down by saying it will come. But later all my calls and email were not acknowledged. On further inquiry I was informed by a customers care that she is a new person and that the person I had the dealing with is no longer in the services of the company. She further told me she was not aware of my previous dealing with them. I was referred to their travel consultant who refused to pick my calls and acknowledge my mails.
They have their operating offices in Lagos and Abuja. Why I'm writing this, is to let the public know of this scam to avoid further duping of innocent citizens and job seekers. They are still in operation and are claiming to be able to help prospective job seekers secure a foreign job. Beware, it's a lie. Do not fall victim to their scam.
Though, my legal person will soon file a petition to the appropriate agency for their prosecution. I have not given up to apprehend them. Beware!

Do you have like extra 100k that you can spare?
If yes . Go and report to the police . They will direct you to the appropriate department .
You will spend small money and I believe they will fish that person out .
I hope you still have the account number you transferred your money to though.
Well, except you also got that money by fraudulent means that you won’t be able to explain to the police how you got it in the first place grin

I hate it and it annoys me in my soul when i hear and see people fall for 'amateur scams', i know it is futile crying over spilt milk but this your case had all the warning signs and i cannot help but blame you for falling so easily. How can you pay over $1k for a job placement, did they promise you a job as the Canadian prime minister's PA? You did not ask for the name of the company and the website to know if the company truly exists? You did not investigate if 'Sisa Travels and tour' is a licensed company and check if they have successfully gotten employment for others before, you didn't record a simple video of the whole transaction? You didn't keep proof of payment of funds into the 'company account' or get a lawyer to witness such a huge transaction? You were very careless about the whole thing and i dont reckon getting your money back will be an easy task but at least now you will be more careful....... angry

Most of these agencies bank on people's desperation.

I have all the transaction details. Do not judge me too quickly as it could happen to anybody. Let me inform that I was not the only person duped; they are many others yet to cry out or crying out silently.

The process is ongoing. Thanks for your advice.

John 1968, my advice, take a military man, mopol or army, let him come on mofty but armed, call them again with their Abuja contact phone number, 09060004041. book an appointment and sound interested in their package. Ask to visit their office for consultation, mention that your friend is also interested and you will be coming with him, book for one hour 5k (thats how much they were able to scam from me). When you get to their office in River house Central business district with the force man, you will see about 8 to 10 of them neatly dressed in fine Sisa Polos. Start acting a movie from there. I suggest you stage a peaceful house arrest/ kidnap operation where you treathen not to allow anyone leave the building unless you have recieved full transfer of your money back, gather them at a spot, beat a few that try to resist, take their mobiles and get each of them transfer to you till you get your very last dime.
