Luka Modric has been unveiled as the winner of
the 2018 Goal 50 , thus breaking Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi's stranglehold on the prestigious annual prize.

Even if he scored 1 million goals in the group stage, a team like portugal rated 4th in the world crashed out of the second round.

Only 1 goal against Uruguay could have done it but he went missing.
