In a statement jointly signed by Chief John Uche, President General and Prince Erondu Uche, Publicity Secretary, the group declared that despite the large population of the Igbo in the country, they are marginalized in all sectors in the country.

Justifying why the Igbo should produce the president in 2023, the stakeholders said outside the South-East, the Igbo constitute 30 to 40 per cent of the population of their host communities and the Igbo man lives peacefully, contributes to the economic growth of his host community and in most cases, develop his host community more than his native home community.

The group said that it is regrettable that this fine gesture has not been reciprocated by giving the Igbo their rightful position in the country. In Lagos, it said in spite of an agreement between the leadership of the Igbo National Stakeholders Assembly and major political parties to give Igbo a level playing ground during the just concluded primaries, the All Progressives Congress, did not comply.

INEC attributes high cost of conducting elections to insecurity The group lamented that since the inception of the Alliance for Democracy, AD and now APC, Ndigbo in the Southwest had always supported the parties but no Igbo has been given ticket to run for any elective position. It said because APC in Lagos State denied the Igbo the only slot requested in Oshodi/Isolo, it has directed its members to pull out of the APC.

They are only joking if they think PDP and APC will zone the President ticket to SS and SE leaving SW out of the primary elections.

They'll also pull out of PDP when the party also fail to field an Igbo man in 2023.
APGA could have been an alternative but they lack the necessary party structure.
Pulling out of the country will be the final resolution.

Let them keep giving ultimatum,if thats the right way to go about it,then all the ethnic groups in Nigeria more than 350 of them that have not had the chance to rule Nigeria will also give ultimatum and it will take about every 350 years to go round . Even if both PDP and APC give the ticket to you what's the guarantee that you will be voted when there are other parties to vote. The right way is to make yourself attractive or use your influence to be voted not ultimatum or nonegotiable thing you giving, you can't force people to vote for you rather it make people to stay away.

grin grin always quoting nonsense figures, how do these people even come up with claims that they are up to 40% in each States ?, so a whooping 4 in every 10 men in zamfara, taraba, ogbomosho, katsina, jalingo and Ilorin is an igboman. How come we don't see them that much on ground. Empty threats don't win votes, a candidate like moghalu, Soludo, okonjo or oby ezekwesile has my vote anytime anyday. But saying we must vote your tribe man cause you said so, while presenting a dunce like Okorocha or a bigot like Obi over Osinbajo, Fashola or Tinubu is a huge joke... infact apkabio is closer to the seat

its a common knowledge na
SE itself is 95% indigenous people
Igbos make up 40% of SS
igbos make up 40% of Lagos
igbos in the north make up 20-30% of their host cities/town

igbos in diaspora make up 5-10% of their host cities

then igbos in heaven make up 99% of the faithful

we also have Igbo angels and saints

if you're a proud Igbo or friends of the Igbo hit like grin grin

I rebuke irredeemable chronic hate filled bigots ever ruling Nigeria not in this life nor the afterlife. Abeg, make dem go rule for Biafra. I tot some Igbos were making mouth how they will retain the same Oshodi/Isolo ticket. I will like to see how your Igbotic fathers will win that election. Imagine hopeless Igbos demanding to be given a ticket in Lagos.

Well, we all know Igbos are rettarded, ignorant, unintelligent and grossly delusional.

40% means Majority since we still have Yoruba people as the host and Hausa, Ijaw, Middle Belt and other tribes in between to split the remaining 60%.

Igbos have some serios incurable mental iseaseI swear...
