Judge Orders Abaribe Pay N100m Over Refusal To Produce Nnamdi Kanu

On an account of the refusal to produce the missing the leader of the

Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu in court, senator Abaribe

and others who stood surety for the Kanu, have been ordered to pay a sum of N100 million.


The Abuja Federal High Court has ordered Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe and three

others who stood sureties for the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu,

to pay the sum of N100m each into the court’s account within two months,

for their inabilities to produce the missing Biafran activist in court.

The ruling as gathered by newsmen, was delivered on Wednesday by Justice

Binta Nyako while amending the conditions of the bail she had in April 2017 granted Kanu.

Kanu is being prosecuted before the court on charges of treason.
