...currently,the demand by the labour union for the increament of wages of its memebers by almost 80percent hasilsbbeen hailed as appropriate andjjutified bymany in diffrent quaters of Nigeeia...but a clearer look a things would. Create a rather clearer picture of the situation the labour union plans to take nigeria into..below are some of the resons such mive by the laour uniin shloud b discouragedby nigerians..

1. Falling national revenue.. it is an ooen secret that Nigeria's national revenue has drastically dwindled as a result of continued drecrese in the prises of petroleum, which is the main government revenue earner....in a situation like this,if govt recurent expenditure were massively increase without either appropriate increase in d revenue dive..it will rsult to a real disaster..nd create deficit budget .then the govtwwill be rced to borrow more jut to fund saaries nd not even infrastructure...wrong move

2. Less than 10 percent of workers are covered by the NLC..
To this end, imagine you are one of te four siblings of a dying wealthy old man. He eventually dies nd his will read to u siblings.will you be happy to know that your dad gave e 90percent of hiswwealh to just one of your brothers...? Just because he likes himbbest..?..urddead father miht just be creating even a worse division among yu children...
.....this can be likened to nigeria also..where the NLC is frcing the government t spend almost al is expenditure budget on just 10 percent of the nations total workforce..yes,govt does not pay non gvt workers, but these st if people also benefitfr om govt expenditure the govt building of infrasture tat they benefit from...labour,is idirecting tllingthe govt to build lss ifrastructure,nd give them.( 10%).the wealth of all.. thats sefish..

U think i they relly care about the workers in general, they should fore the FG to formulate a policy to financialky support large no. Of nigerians.(bigger than govt workers) who earn lesss than n 20k monthly with say 5k mnthly..thats wo t i calk cring about everyone ....if not so,the very low income non gvt workers should embarkon a nationwide protest.

3. The NLC is enemy of progress...it is well dcumented during obj and oshiomole highy publicised faceoff over fuel price increase that indeed the federal goverment were right ater all...they educatedtthe laour unions about the necess

This your "I'm a thinker" write up doesn't add up.
1. Revenue is falling - Has that reduced the bogus allowances received by politicians? Did that stop the stealing of billions from NNPC, while the amount recovered as looted funds remain undeclared?.
2. The impact of that 10% civil ripples on over 45% of Nigerians. I hope you're not thinking that 85 million Nigerians are such a small number.
3. The headship of NLC you referred to as enemies of progress (at the time) is the current APC chairman. You may wish to advise the government in that regard.
4. Finally, write and edit before posting you opinions. It will help us take you a bit serious..
