We have been complaining about Nigeria in all spheres of our lives but we've failed to recognise the achievements, progress, blessings, values, etc of the country.

Nigeria is 58 years since independence and many individuals may be wondering of the reason while the country is unstable. But if we look deeply into the country and make some few comparisons with another country or nation, we would observe that Nigeria is better and far ahead all other African nations.


I am writing this in order to counter the thread which said Kenya is far ahead of Nigeria IN ALL ASPECT.

The writer of that thread did not think twice before making use of that expensive phrase "In all Aspect".

Confidently speaking, if we are to make deep comparisons between Nigeria and Kenya with other African countries, we would come to realise why Nigeria is the giant and heart of Africa!!

Knowledge is Power says the English man. But a mere individual just woke up from sleep one day and start creating a meaningless thread with the aim of degrading and reducing the value of another country. There are three things that can not be hidden forever- the Sun, the Moon and the Truth- Buddha.

Truly and truthfully speaking, the inferiority and mediocrity complex of individuals can make them to be blind to the truth but only temporarily. The main aim of this thread is to show the main facts of how great and better Nigeria is when compared to other countries/nations.

Hopefully, my fellow Nigerians would add more points to the few points am going to be giving.


No foreign individual should be pained if any harsh and indisputable fact is being posed because we are not try to degrade or downgrade any nation or individual but all what we are doing is to make the truth known and give reasons why Nigeria's respect is worth it.

Nigeria is naturally endowed with many valueable natural resources in abundancy for instance, in this same Nigeria, the following can be found: coal, gold, gravel, iron ore, limestone, cotton, wool, rubber, cocoa, petroleum and natural gas(crude oil), zinc, lignite, timber, palm oil, salt, to mention but a few and also we also have many other natural raw materials and abundant agricultural goods.

Most of the African nations including the United States get their resources from Nigeria. Nigeria has also helped her sister countries and neighbouring nations in the past and present.


Let's now talk about the tourism sector of which Kenya is boosting about. But confidently speaking, Nigeria has more and more tourist centres even the popular ones and the unpopular ones. Places like Yankari game reserves, Obudu cattle ranch, the osogbo shrine, Slave trade ground at Badagry, what about The many tourist attractions in Ibadan the largest city in West Africa?! The National stadium in the beautiful state of Akwaibom, The many tourist attractions,at Ile Ife, to mention but a few! Ask for more and I will give you more!

Kenya is just boasting the few things they have which is not as valuable as those of Nigeria.

For instance, while Kenya was living in slums and forests, Nigeria have already being living in air conditioned houses. You can not compare the educational status of Nigeria to Kenya not at all.

Many of the Kenyans are still swimming in illiteracy, ignorance and superstitions!

Every society has its ups and downs. Even those in first world countries complains,.
The problems in this life is vast and relative. Ours maybe corruption and epileptic power, but some people's are environmental hazards, family problems, health problems and many more.
It only takes happiness and self satisfaction to be okay wherever u find urself.
For me, I and my family lives happily and most of us made it in this sae nigeria, and our siblings will also make it in this SAme system.

If u want to live long, take ur life as u see it, strive to be better and Hustle for more. But most importantly be self sufficient, self happy and self satisfied.

OP you enumerated all those goodies which Nigeria is endowed with which also are the envy of other African countries but forgot to add: Unfortunately no Nigerian city can boast of 24 hour power supply which is a shame

If only you read this post from beginning, then you would have understod that we are talking about the better aspects of the country.

Cities like Lekki, Ikoyi, Banana Island, etc can boast of 24 hours electric supply.

But the fact still is that most of the residents there are not in need of NEPA!!
