Another buhari apologist. Without privatizing nitel, could there have been the competition you mentioned? How much was the government making in the then corruption-striken nitel, compared to what they make now? The jobs created by the telecoms operators were a proceed of nitel's privatization. For your information, we are a vendor to the nnpc. We all know the massive fraud and corruption going on there 8n nnpc. I was at the muri okunola VI branch of their hospital 2 weeks ago. Ordinary injection, they didn't have. All their equipment had packed up. Someone, somewhere had collected the money meant for those stuffs and cleaned mouth. Nnpc must be privatized . Privatisation isnt the same as selling and that's where you guys got it wrong . The federal government still regulates it's affairs . Only operations and day to day running would be off their hands. Did you know how much the nnpc had made in the last 10 years and how much had been remitted into the federal govt purse? What of the scam called subsidy payment? Some Nigerians are just too myopic ,smh

Why not strengthen our institutions first before privatizing. Or are the people going to manage it are coming from Utopia?

Of what use is a moribund NNPC to Nigeria and Nigerians?

NNPC for now is just like any other businessman importer of fuel.

4 dead refineries syphoning our meagre resources, feeding pot bellied people in the name of NNPC workers.

NNPC is a very corrupt govt outfit. How did it move fuel subsidy from N300 billion per year under GEJ to N1.4 trillion under PMB? Faud, complete fraud. Yet fuel pump price also jumped from N87 under GEJ to N145 under PMB, increase by over 60%. Is that a help to Nigerians or a pure economic burden?

Sell the godamn NNPC and let businessmen do the petroleum business.

We should stop deceiving ourselves that NNPC is asset, I tell you I have never seen a greater liability than NNPC.

grin. You have a point there. But in a place where corruption thrives like weeds, it would be very difficult to strenghten any institution. We gained independence in 1960. Most of the countries that are our age have left us far behind, leave us on the number 1 list of world poorest countries . I had a course mate back in the days whose dad was a low cadre engineer at nitel. The day his daughter was getting married in 1998, he presented her with a brand new toyota Condor. Where did he get the money from? You can imagine what a director at nitel would present his child when getting married, maybe a private jet grin. That's the way they've been running our institutions recklessly all along. Privatisation can check all that . Our govt would make more money( privatisation isn't a sale, mind you). Any staff who is not efficient would be replaced . You work for your money.

Let be realistic. Their is no real/strong political will to fight corruption because those who are fighting them have friends/families/cronies already indicted.

John 8:7 " let him who is without sin cast the first one".

And we also need to ask ourselves this question; Are Nigerians ready to accept/adapt to a life without corruption?

Corruption is epidemic in Nigeria but the focus/attention is only on the politicians. Nobody is talking about the corruption within the pastors, imams, lecturers, doctors infact almost everybody.

Yea, corruption starts from individuals and their homes. Really sad.

In term of fighting corruption, Buhari has more political will than Atiku.. Don't know about other policies oo.

It is just a pity that majority of Nigerians had decided to split their votes between these 2 old cargo. Who ever wins, if any changes may be little. They are both still living in analog age.

Atiku is smiling and waiting for Nigerians to make the mistake of voting him into ASO Rock. He came from Senegal as a nomad and someone in Yola mistakingly harboured him as a son of the house. He was admitted into Nigerian schools and eventually bagged OND. Nigeria mistakingly allowed him to be enlisted into the Nigerian Customs where he looted and looted even in retirement he was still looting customs. He was mistakingly allowed to contest governorship but an extended mistake made him to become vice president of Nigeria. Then the great buy up of the National institutions under the guise of privatization started. He not only looted the nation, he robbed us completely.
Atiku by nature is corrupt and will steal everything dry. He is just waiting for the nation to make the final and last mistake - Presidency.

Atiku is like many other Nigerian politician, just like obasanjo, Tinubu buhari. etc. If Obasanjo did not steal Nigeria dry and Tinubu did not steal every thing in Lagos Atiku will not steal every thing in Nigeria. Let's vote for Atiku come 2019

Be Articulate Vote wisely !!!! 2019 change De fake change
