Nigeria politics has become more or less a premier league season for an average Nigeria Youth.

And everybody have his or her own club (political party) and he/she is doing everything for his or her club to win

The youth see PDP and APC as two opposing club site that can and have signed top players (politician).
They celebrate every defection and cross carpeting as an increase in strength or otherwise.

If Ganduje decamp to PDP today with his 5mllion votes, he becomes friends of PDP and Enemies of APC supporters etc.

But that is not the problem... Why they are busy fighting to win the "league ", they have fail to realise one fact.

If Chelsea or Liverpool win the league it has no effect on their life or business except some temporary joy or unhappiness BUT APC or PDP victory have direct and huge consequences of either good or bad on their lives, neighbour, state and country.

The best candidate (most probably among the two) ought to be decipher and supported.

But Like someone in this forum said, they are far more unintelligent people in Nigeria than intelligent ones and these are the people politicians target.

To them it's all about Chelsea Vs Liverpool... Barça Vs Madrid.

And like they use to claim ->
I am a die-hard ___(fill in the gap)___ fan.

While they are at it NairaBET and bet9ja should give APC and PDP options and Odds
You would be shocked the millions of people that would stake on their favourite club .. I meant political party.

It's an irritating reality you've painted. We must keep in mind that these youths are mostly products of the failed educational system these same politicians have left us with.

We are now left with the two-pronged challenge of reorienting the people on what constitutes good governance; and changing the status quo.

It is a sorry state.

You summarized the solution with the bolded above but it is going to be an uphill task.
