We all know that the Microsoft co-operation might have made various attempts to be more transparent with their privacy settings even though there is still much more work to be done

Turn off your location:
If you're a mobile device user, such as a tablet or a laptop, there are plenty of times when allowing third-party apps to access your location can be said to be convenient. But please it doesn't mean that you should leave your location active at all times.


When your location is switched on, Windows 10 stores your device's location history for up to 24 hours and allows those discrete apps with location permission enabled to access your location data.This feature can also be used to track a pc user anywhere on the whole wide world.

If you turn your location off, apps that use your location (such as the Maps app) will not be able to find you. You can, however, manually set a default location that apps can use as a stand-in.

To turn off your location on the Window 10 PC, go to Settings > Privacy > Location and the Change button under Location for this device should be on so, all you have to do is just to switch it Off by clicking on it.
