Swapping of ATM cards e don dey wey scammers dey use dat format dey collect ppl ATM cards. All they do is if u d type wey no sabi use ATM and u require assistance dem go pretend to help u and durin d process dem collect ur card from ur hand to insert to d machine dem go codedly swipe am. Dis is why its important if u require assistance make sure u insert d card into the machine first by urself b4 u ask for assistance or better still u request one of d security ppl around help u. A word is enuf 4 d wise.

Obinna Okafor was arrested on November, 20, in Nnewi, at an Access Bank branch. The suspect specializes in duping unsuspecting victims around automated teller machine centres by swapping their ATM cards with another stolen ATM in his possession. .

Exhibits found in his possession include: eight different ATM cards suspected to have been stolen from his victims and sum of N120,000 already withdrawn from his victim’s account at the point of his arrest.
