A Twitter by the name Henry N took to the social network to announce how how him and his team just conducted another Kidney transplant on a patient who is now in stable condition.

Sharing some of the photos on line, he said:

So we had a successful Kidney Transplant in AKTH Kano. And before u are surprised or amazed, we have been doing Transplant since 2003 but our pple will prefer to run to India, when it's cheaper and successful here. RT so pple who aren't aware can know.

But given the great news and how cheap this will be for Nigerians, he was severely attacked by Nigerians who were critical of the capability of the teaching hospital to deliver an all rounded care and value for money.

Correct.. Atleast some positive news for a change... In a country where medical tourism have become a mainstay, such feats should b celebrated and well publicised...

Even the so called president dey run go abroad when he is sick........instead of him to provide for our hospitals.
