7 friends Moliehi Mareka, Mahlatse Mothiba, Tshepang Motete, Thato Mosehle, Toni Motseoile, Lungile Mkhungo, and Lijeng Lefosa will be among those who will be graduating as doctors on the 6th of December 2018 at the Free State University.

Medical school is filled with a whole lot of challenges but with God on their side, this seven were able to make it.

Thato shared several photos of the group on Facebook along with the caption: "Glory to God!! We did it y'all! We proved so many people wrong, we've proved so many people right."

They were among the nine ‘black’ students in a class of 130 students and this also served as a motivation to them.

Speaking to TimesLIVE, 24-year-old Tshepang said she was raised in a rural village by parents who aren't professionals. She's the first in her family to become a doctor.

Adjusting to modern technological equipment during her studies was therefore a huge challenge. Luckily, older students were there to guide them, she said.

Can’t happen in Nigeria.

Seven friends cannot graduate at the same time from a medical school.

Why can't it happen?
Is medical school that difficult?

It’s not about the school, but the instructors.

Congrats to them!

But why does everyone want to tell a sob-story when they succed? Are these hands the hands of “black” people? undecided

Do these hands look like people who suffering black people? Most of these people had their black parents or half parents migrate to the good places before birthing them, so what constraints did their “blackness” pose to getting their degrees? Ain't there other black people who graduated from the same university, the same course of study before them? What's all these fuss about being black sef?

“Speaking to TimesLIVE, 24-year-old Tshepang said she was raised in a rural village by parents who aren't professionals. She's the first in her family to become a doctor.”

Another sob-story! How many years does it take to learn to use an electronic gadget? No matter how complex it is? undecided She should go back to that “remote village” and find out that many grannies there are now using android phones. Kini big deal?

They succeded. FULLSTOP.
Stop using the word “black” to whip us sentiments.
