I have actually been thinking about this since last year. With all the political thuggery and violence going on presently and every one wanting to hold an office; seems like motherland is headed for doom. I am really apprehensive about this forthcoming, as the president said "do or die affair".

So if it eventually turns out to be a war, what would u do?

N:B- its tru u have freedom to say anything u want to say, but its usually advisable to be sensible.

Ani lati gba dura gidi.
We need to pray for motherland

There will be no war. We're not interested. Those who want to fight should fight inside their prison cells.

We don't need another war!

A lot of people still haven't gotten over the last war that was almost three decades ago.

Elections campaigns in this country have unfortunately become synonymous with violence.

NINETOFIVE:

war?, not again God forbid, Nigerians get your acts together and just be fair.

Fairness is what a lot of Nigerians want. But with power concentrated in a few hands, can we get genuine fairness for all?

lets kill tribe and liberalize our society, drop English language, treat every religious fanaticism that leads to harm or death as a crime against Nigerian basis of unity and let them rot in jail for ever, even if the culprits are five thousand in number, enough is enough,

Barely forty-eight hours to the elections, the Agagu Campaign Organisation’s office in Akure, the Ondo State capital, was bombed by yet to be identified people

along which lines will the war be fought ??

Some villages, cousins, brothers have supporters scattered among the parties.

In some families Big brother dey support AC, younger brother dey support PDP

My brother if war breaks out as a result of election then know this country is simply looking for excuse to have one.

War, ? Fat chance. The same people that couldn't stand up to Sani Abach in his hey day now want to die for who?, A few desperately ambitious politicians running their mouths or their sponsored miscreants running helter skelter does not constitute organized action or revolt for that matter,

Nigerians love their lives too much. Send two battallions of soldiers from second mechanized brigade and they'll all crawl back underneath the bridge they belong.

And for the soldiers confined to the barracks for so long, it'll be a welcome opportunity for target practice!!
Re: What If War Erupts In My Nigeria? by Seun(m): 8:01am On Apr 18, 2007
Why shouldn't we love our lives? Every human being has only one life to live, so why waste it?
Re: What If War Erupts In My Nigeria? by star01(m): 8:05am On Apr 18, 2007

That’s why politicians will always ply on our fears to perpetuate rigging. Our situation cannot change withour siddon -dey- look attitude. Things cannot change if we dont fight for them. Its not the intention of the captor to let the captive free, the captive MUST demand freedom from his master
