Nigerian artistes despite knowing the influence they possess seem to throw caution to winds when penning their lyrics putting sales and acceptability first to the detriment of values. The golden girl Teni has joined the band wagon penning words that shows some form of respect and honour for a popular park boss, MC Oluomo. In recent years, we have heard Nigerian artistes ceebrate drug abuse, fraud and prostitution with there music. They do these with the hope of achieving hit songs. Teni has proven to be a genius at penning and singing commercial songs but i think she can achieve same without putting forward the wrong role models or lifestyle to the Nigerian youths.
