The product of challenges and difficulties equal competence. We are a nation that abhors challenges and sacrifice competence so our product is difficulties. A simple equation. A nation where everyone depends on government for everything will never get government to do anything.

If Nigerians want to see progress they have to start taking responsibility. Out of the 5 million released for the reconstruction, Americans will probably have paid 3.5 million in taxes and levies and another 1 million in bonds.... how will you not act fast after collecting peoples sweat. In Nigeria 2.9 million will have come from the Shell oil fields of Bonga and another 2 million from the Agip gas fields. Since you did not work for it, neither did you know when or how the funds were generated and collected you cannot make any demand. You are at their mercy.

There is a big difference between salary and gift. One is mandatory, the latter is indiscriminate. And there lies the difference. Nigerians are not responsible enough to enjoy the kind of society we desire. To do this we need to restructure and there the matter ends.... we are not ready....so we will never see a road reconstructed in five days despite our unending disasters.

Anambra is not USA besides following the coming of dry season, all contractors have been mobilized back to site. Most of those roads will be completed soon

Majority of Nigerians are hypocritical. When there are land mark developments, they remember US and Europe, when it comes down to being responsible to their country, they keep quiet. One thing about their politician is that you will never hear them campaign about roads been fixed or done by them rather they talk about how many jobs they have been able to create!
